Dear Equinox Vidder,
Thank you for making a vid for me! I love this theme. General preferences: I don't particularly like hip hop or pop music (eg Taylor Swift or Beyonce), so if possible, I'd prefer other types of music. That being said, I'm open to whatever inspires you, including instrumental, jazz or classical or spoken word. For these sources, I'm not picky about the type of vid. It could be a general theme, ensemble, character study or shippy and I will enjoy it. Ultimately, you should make whatever inspires you. Interview With The Vampire (TV 2022)
I have to admit that I haven't yet seen the second season but I'm going to fix that pronto. I read most of the books a long time ago and was thrilled at this interpretation in which the gay subtext was made text. I love the gothic, romantic excess of it all. I love the exploration of the experience of immortality. My only real preference at this point is not a vid focusing on Claudia. Ensemble or Claudia+another character is fine. Lestat is my favorite from S1–Sam Reid is absolutely perfect as Lestat–but I'm also endlessly intrigued by Louis and (from what I remember from the books), probably Armand in S2.
Poor Things (2023) (SAFETY)
This movie was amazing. The writing, the performances, the cinematography, the pure imagination at work. It went in directions I totally didn't expect. I'd love to see anything you create. I'm most interested in Bella. I'm open to a vid about her relationship with others but not a vid only focused on another character, e.g. Dr. Baxter, Duncan or Max.
All Of Us Strangers (2023) (SAFETY)
A very intriguing movie with great performances. Open to anything here. Character study of Adam or Harry, focus on Adam/Harry or Adam's relationship with his parents, or the general theme of "after life." Or just something creepy and atmospheric! Or sexy!
Good Omens (TV)
I'm not in the fandom but I'm a total Aziraphale/Crowley shipper. I love Michael and David's performances and their interplay and all the rich history between them. The visuals are awesome too.There's obviously a lot here you can do with the "after life" theme. An ensemble vid with angels and demons would also be great. I also love Jon Hamm in S3. You could be humorous or serious. Even if you think it's been done before, go ahead because I've only seen a few Good Omens vids.
The Sandman (TV 2022)
This show has great visuals. My favorite characters are Dream, Lucienne, Il Corinzio, Desire, No particular preferences here. Character study, ensemble, theme would all be great.
